• The cost of wool diapering is low. For full diapering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 3-4 covers are sufficient. Furthermore, wool does not need to be washed after use, it just needs to be aired out, which also reduces costs. Washing is only necessary when the cover is actually dirty (e.g., soiled with poop).

• Air out the wool cover after each use. Hang it up loosely for a few hours; if it is completely dry you can shorten this time or use it again immediately. During airing, the wool will regenerate and clean itself nicely. This is completely safe thanks to the antibacterial properties of wool combined with lanolin. In addition, lanolin breaks down urine into salts and water, so that after a few hours the cover becomes clean, smells neutrally and it's ready for reuse.
• Wash a regularly used wrap no more than every 4-5 weeks, or sooner only if necessary.
• If you still smell urine after airing, or if your little big pee-pee has soaked the wool through and through, simply rinse it gently and then dry it.
• Wash it if it has been soiled with poop. Rinse off any residue under running water, then spot clean or wash the entire diaper if necessary.
• The Easy Care diaper cover does not require lanolin. It is made of special wool that does not need lanolin to insulate moisture.

Proper care of your wool diaper will allow you to enjoy it for many years.

• When washing, use water of the same temperature throughout, i.e., the temperature should be similar for pre-washing, washing, and rinsing. Treating wool alternately with hot and cold water causes it to felt, making it hard, thick, and often unusable.
• Wash by hand in lukewarm water at a temperature of around 30°C (if you immerse your hand in it, it should not feel warmer).
• Wash with the addition of wool detergent by kneading, do not rub.
• If it is very dirty, lather wool detergent on the dirty area and leave it to soak for 10 minutes. You may need to use a coconut soap what is helpful for stubborn stains. Wet the dirty area, lather with soap, leave for a few minutes, and then wash.
• Rinse in water of a similar temperature.
• Do not wring out, just squeeze out the water.
• Before drying, wrap the cover in a towel and pat it dry, then it will dry much faster.
• Dry away from heat sources (radiators, strong sunlight), never dry in a tumble dryer.
• Remember not to prolong the contact time of wool with water, wool does not like soaking and may repay you by felting.
